nayasnana - I have to disagree about how loud these birds can get. I currently have a neighbor acrros the street and two doors down. It is about half a football field away. She has a cockatoo that can get so loud I here it while sitting in my living room. No one has ever called the police but if I was next door and it was cussing all the time, you can bet I would not put up with it.

Seems to me that ex-hubbies new girlfriend may have a "beef" with his ex-wife. My sister owned a cussing cockatoo years ago. While they can get a little loud, not loud enough to disturb neighbors. Unless, of course, said neighbors are lurking around the windows??
