A Loveland man is credited with catching the larges fish ever in the Hamilton County Park District history.

Harry Scott, Lake Isabella Harbor Manager, says Dwight Kidwell Jr. caught the fish this past Saturday. Kidwell Jr. of Loveland has been fishing at Lake Isabella since he was a kid and pulled in the record breaking catfish, which weighed 95 pounds.  Kidwell broke the Hamilton County record and came close to breaking the record for the state of Ohio.

Kidwell used a Trout head for bait. It took him 40 minutes to land the fish and it took two men to pick it up and put it in a net to weigh it.

After taking some photos of the fish, it was released back into Lake Isabella alive and well.
