WARREN COUNTY (WHIO-TV) — A horse died in a fire that destroyed a large barn in Warren County.

WHIO-TV says the blaze broke out around dawn today in the 3800 block of Trovillo Road.

The Salem Twonship fire chief has not yet said what sparked the fire.

A neighbor who witnessed the fire said the owner suffered minor burns attempting to save the horse. Four other horses survived.

The barn is a complete loss. The neighbor said it included a riding ring inside.

I bet they were running 2 or 3 or more electric heaters that pull 12 amps on a circuit that is made for 15 amps. Just because something has a plug on it doesn't mean you can run it on every outlet.
