To each their own. BUT I am glad the article has started communication between people. And catcatcher 10: I never even thought about thyroid or pituitary gland issues-thanks for that info. See: 2 (or more) heads are better than one! I appreciate people caring; animals need humans' help! :)

Meow needs to be checked for thyroid and pituitary gland issues! That is too young for that much weight gain even if he lived IN the food bowl.

I CARE TOO!!! It said the old lady who owned the cat couldn't care for it; it's possible she just put the whole box of food out at one time. Cats are kinda dumb; they'll eat more than they should (mine has a few times, the goober). I hope the kitty will be ok.

I CARE. Poor little/big cat. How big were the owners? People should know that much extra weight isn't healthy. What is wrong with people????
