Water Treatment Guide

General Information
Water can be hazardous to your health, plants, clothes and animals if it's not treated properly. If you have water problems you may want to consider getting it treated. There are many companies that specialize in several types of water treatments that you can choose from.
Identifying Water Conditions
Stains and bad smells are two common signs that you may have problems with your water. Copper and Iron are two minerals that can cause stains and are easily treatable.
Tap Water
These days, bottled water is preferred to tap water because it's drawn from wells and springs. But many people may not know that some of the bottled water is drawn from ordinary tap water. You can filter out the hazardous chemicals and bacteria from your tap water by using water treatments.
Treatment Systems
You may consider installing commercial water, or filtration systems to help purify your home's water. Compare initial and servicing costs before purchasing a system for your home, and check out manufacture's warranties as well.
Water Sources
Depending on where your home is located, your water source may be a public or private well, or your city's local water supply. All of these water sources have their advantages and disadvantages, so take these into consideration when buying a home.
