A dedicated leased line is a special telephone line, usually between an Internet service provider and a network, that distributes Internet services to its members. Leased line services are expensive, but usually fast, from a fifty-six kilobyte up to a T-1 level. This service requires special hardware such as a router and a digital converter to link Internet hosts to your network. For more information on dedicated leased lines, please contact your local Internet service provider.
