Choosing between leather and cloth interior for your car is usually a matter of comfort, style, and affordability. Generally, leather interior is much more expensive, but it can last longer, look and feel nicer, and age better than other upholstery. It's also simpler to clean and maintain. Cloth interior, on the other hand, is harder to care for as it easily soils and stains. Its main advantage, however, is that the surface never gets too cold or too hot in low or high temperatures. Many drivers also prefer cloth interior for its comfort, as sitting on leather can often be slippery. Keep in mind that if you choose to have leather interior, it can increase the cost of the car by several thousand dollars. Furthermore, pay attention to the quality of the leather. Some manufacturers may offer a partial leather interior. Though slightly less expensive, partial leather usually means it's supplemented with vinyl. For more information on the differences between leather and cloth interior, talk to an auto dealer or a car-buying professional.
