Materials:
-One Large Zip Lock Bag
-Baking Soda
-Vinegar
-1 Twist Tie
-1 Rocket
-1 Rob Braun Action Anchor Doll

Procedure:
Pour about 1 cup of vinegar into a large zip lock bag. Use the twist tie to seal the vinegar off from the rest of the bag. Put about 6 tablespoons of baking soda in the top of the zip lock bag, above the twist tie. Now seal the zip lock. Rmove the twist tie. Shake the bag twice and put it on the ground. Watch the bag expand with gas. The same mixture of household chemicals can be used with a larger rocket purchased at your your local "science" store or engineered at home.

What's Going On?
Baking soda reacts with vinegar producing carbon dioxide. Pressure builds up inside the bag or until the rocket can no longer contain the carbon dioxide gas. This causes the bag to pop open or the rocket to shoot into the air. Gas escapes and pressure is released.
