Chipotle Burger

Ingredients

16 oz. Ground Pork
2 tsp. Chipotle peppers minced
1 tsp. Adobo sauce
2 clove Garlic minced
4 slices Cheese
4 ea. Burger Buns (toasted)
½ cup Mayonnaise
¼ lb. Tomatilla (husked and rinsed)
½ ea. Avacado
½ cup Cilantro (rinsed)
1 Large Egg

Adobo sauce: ½ cup soy sauce, 1/2 cup vinegar, 2 Tbsp minced garlic 1tsp black pepper, 1/8 tsp of each ground cumin, anise, smoked paprika, ½ oz. orange and lime juice mix together and set aside.

Directions

  • Preheat grill med.high heat.
  • Mix chipotle peppers and 1 Tbsp. adobo sauce together.
  • In a large mixing bowl mix pork, 1Tblsp of chipotle and adobo mixture, garlic, egg and a pinch of salt and pepper. Form into 4-4 oz. burgers.
  • Spray grill and burgers with pan spray. Cook for approximately 3-4 minutes each side with grill covered or until internal temperature reaches 155. Top with your choice of cheese and let cheese melt.
  • Remove from grill and place on bottom bun. Spread mayo on bun and stack on top of burger with tomatilla (sliced) avocado and cilantro.
