BLT Turkey Burger

Ingredients

8 Slc. Bacon or Turkey Bacon (cooked)
20 oz. Ground Turkey (white meat)
4 Slc. Cheese (Muenster, Swiss) or your choice.
¼ cup Fresh chive’s (fine slice)
¼ cup Dijon mustard
¼ tsp Each salt and pepper
4 ea. Hamburger buns (buttered)
4 slc. Each Tomato and Sweet Onion
½ hd. Iceberg lettuce (shredded)

Directions

  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  • In a large mixing bowl combine ground turkey, chives, Dijon, salt and pepper.
  • Shape into 4 patties and spray with pan spray on both sides of patty.
  • Grill burgers covered, for approximately 4 minutes per side or until bugers reach an internal temperature of 165.
  • Place your choice of cheese on top and melt.
  • Remove burgers from the grill and keep warm.
  • On low heat grill bun’s until lightly toasted.
  • Place bun on plate and build burger with, lettuce, tomato slices and two strips of bacon and serve.
