22 year old Army Specialist Robert Weber of Delhi died September 30, 2006, when his Humvee hit an embankment and flipped near Qayyarah West Airfield, Iraq.

Weber was assigned to 1st Battalion, 37th Field Artillery Regiment, 25th Infantry Division, Fort Lewis, Wash.

Weber graduated in 2003 from Dater High School and lived in Western Hills before he left on his tour of duty. He'd done a previous stint in Iraq in 2004. Weber's family told Local 12 he was ready and willing to go back.
