27 year old Army Specialist James Wright of Delhi died on September 18, 2003 during an ambush in Tikrit, Iraq.
The Army says Wright was one of three American soldiers investigating a site suspected of being used to launch rocket-propelled grenades at U.S convoys. Wright was with the 4th Army Infantry. Wright's wife gave birth to a son, Jamison, several months after his death.
