20 year old Spc. Daniel Freeman of Blue Ash died in April 6, 2005 in a helicopter crash during a sandstorm storm in Ghanzi, Afganistan.
Specialist Freeman was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 508th Infantry Regiment, stationed in Camp Ederle, Italy.
Freeman spent part of his childhood in Israel and graduated from Sycamore High School in 2003.
