29 year old Sergeant David Luff Jr. of Hamilton died on Sunday, November 21, 2010, when insurgents attacked his unit in Tikrit, Iraq.
Sergeant Luff of Hamilton was stationed in Hawaii. He was part of a crew providing security for military officials meeting with Iraqi community leaders. This was his second tour of duty in Iraq.
Sgt. Luff graduated from Hamilton High School in 1999. Sgt. Luff leaves behind a wife and a six month old son.
