19 year old Lance Corporal Christopher Dyer of Evendale died on August 3, 2005 when a roadside bomb attack in Western Iraq. Dyer was one of 14 Marines from the Ohio-based 3rd Battalion 25th Marines killed in the attack. 5 men from the Tri-State died that day.Christopher was a Princeton High School grad and was going to start college in Ohio State's Honor's program the following January.He is buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
