An infamous piece of baseball history is on the auction block.

You can cast your bid for the "lifetime ban from baseball" agreement with Pete Rose.

Goldin Auctions started the bidding Tuesday, but the auction runs through Nov 17.

The copy of the 1989 agreement features Rose's signature and that of the then-baseball commissioner Bart Giamatti.

The agreement came after an investigation showed Rose bet on games while he was manager of the Cincinnati Reds.

Goldin Auctions believes someone could bid $500,000.

dan580 LOL! The really sick and sad part is that if he did auction his nasty drawers off, some even sicker freak would buy them! What has our society come to when people will pay good money for a piece of paper that represents someone's fall from grace? PATHETIC!
