Sewer improvements shut down a North College Hill street.

Crews with the Metropolitan Sewer District have been replacing pipes on De Armand Avenue for the past two weeks.

It's part of a series of a $2 billion sewer improvement project to replace hundred year old pipes.

Similar construction will be taking place throughout Hamilton County for the next 15 years.

The project is being funded through sewer bills.
