It looks like a key partnership in the effort to create a gateway to Northgate Mall is off.
In a statement, the mall's parent company says they will not move forward with negotiations with Colerain Township... but Northgate may pursue plans on its own.
A clock tower and a mini-park were proposed on the lot of an old service station at the corner of Colerain Avenue and Springdale Roads.
This has been a rocky plan from the start, with the original deal scrapped due to high costs.
