Glendale Gingerbread Contest Winners Announced

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas - with a bevy of gingerbread houses.

Winners of Glendale's gingerbread house contest were announced today at the town hall.

There were a total of eight categories.

Robert Ayers won first for professionals, Whitney Lefker took first for teens, and Megan Daniel - topped the youth category.

There were more than two hundred entries - and just one requirement:

Every piece on the gingerbread house had to be edible.

Money raised for this event will benefit Shriner's hospital.
