Covington city leaders accepted $484,000 this morning for streetscape improvements on Madison Avenue.
The improvements will be part of the Cathedral Arts and Education District which is planned for Madison from 11th to 26th Streets.
The funding will be used to dig up old pavement and put down stamped concrete along Madison between 11th and 12th streets.
A raised crosswalk, a drop off lane and other streetscape improvements are also planned.
