Monroe, OH Kroger went from $3.33.9 to $3.75.9 (42 cent hike in 1 day). They can blame it on the hurricane; has nothing to do with Ohio and they raise the prices even before the hurricane happened. Rip off, gouging, highway robbery. If I have to pay extortion prices I will do so outside of Monroe, OH.

Well here's my thought, we are being gouged and the Obama group was to look into this well that will never happen. I have postponed and cancelled alot of trips this year due to gas and other high prices. Gas once you get out of Cincinnati about 60 miles in any direction is lower. But we have a national average, so make it $3.50 a gallon all over the world. When summer is over then it should be $2.00 a gallon. Gas is putting hotels and restarants out of business, I was planning the holiday weekend away until gas hit $3.75 a gallon now I save 30 bucks in gas plus food and lodging you do the math. Message: For RENT The White House we are looking for new tentants, the last ones run it down a little but some new paint will help. We did get change like promised I have plenty of it in my pocket.

I went into Subway at 10:45am and gas was 3.42 at the Shell next door, when I came out 5 minutes later it was 3.79.... heard it was BP shutting down a refinery in Chicago.... a bunch of bull if yo ask me.

they are blaming the gas prices on the hurricane and next weekend will be a holiday weekend, so prices will come down after that.

Gas prices at Kroger in Batesville were 3.449 at Noon on 8-24-2011. At 5:00 pm gas at the same kroger was 3.759, a JUMP of 31 cents or 9 PERCENT. Are we paying higher because of the hurricane Irene. Give the consumer a break, you price gouging vendors.

All gas stations in Monroe, OH have out done themselves today - they went from $3.38.9 gal to $3.65.9 within a few hours (27 cent hike). We will be buying our gas outside of Monroe, Oh from this point on unless an absolute emergency. I'm tired of the yoyo pricing and gouging.
