The Bengals today returned DT Pat Sims to practice, on a roster exemption.

Sims is on the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list, due to a hamstring injury suffered July 26.

Today starts a three-week window during which Sims may practice with the team without being counted against the 53-player active roster limit. He could be added to the roster at any time during this three-week period.

Sims (6-2, 335; Auburn) is in his fifth Bengals season and has been a regular in the team’s defensive line rotation. Over the 2008-11 campaigns, he logged 52 games with 23 starts.

He had better blitz this week. Our defensive secondary couldn't cover a zit with a gallon of Clearasil.

Sims who ? A long time no-show. It seems no matter who's on the front four defense, there's not enough pressure and opposing QB"s have too much time to throw, and even rookies kill the Bengals. Why doen't Mike Zimmer blitz more in sure pass situations ?
