Hyde carried the football a career-high 28 times for a career-best 140 yards and four touchdowns. He scored from the 1, 7, 1 and 16 yard lines with his seven-yarder giving the Buckeyes the lead for good late in the second quarter, 28-24. His four-touchdown game was the first for a Buckeye since Eddie George ran for four against Iowa on Oct. 28, 1995.
Brown’s 76-yard punt return for a score broke the game open in the third quarter, giving the Buckeyes a 49-31 lead.
