CINCINNATI (AP) - The Cincinnati Reds have sent outfielder Norris Hopper to the Chicago White Sox for catcher Corky Miller in a trade of minor league players.
The 33-year-old Miller appeared in 14 games for the White Sox this season before going to Triple-A Charlotte. He played for the Reds in the 2001-'04 seasons, and the team said Friday he will be sent to Triple-A Louisville.
The 30-year-old Hopper played in 26 games for the Reds in an injury-plagued 2008 season and had been with Louisville all this season.
