Organizers of the Findlay Market Opening Day Parade are trying to cut back on the number of entries.

In a letter to participants, the parade committee says last year's event lasted for nearly three hours and didn't wrap up until about 20-minutes before game time with 240 units taking part.

This year, the committee wants to cut that number to about 200 units, so the parade can wrap up in about two hours.

Entries who have participated in past parades will be given priority.

Reds Opening Day is on April 1 this year.

This will be the 94th year for the parade.

This should be fun to watch...I wonder which "groups" will have to sit it out, and what reasons will the committee give them for making them "ride the bench" ?.?.?.? This could get ugly...Stay tuned Cincinnati..
