Xavier sophomore Dee Davis was named today as Atlantic 10 Conference Player of the Week and previously was named as one of ESPN’s “Best of the Best” Top Performers of the weekend after scoring a career-high 22 points on the strength of a career-high five 3-pointers to go with a career-high 15 assists in Xavier’s season-opening win over Fairleigh Dickinson on Friday. The 15 assists are a new XU sophomore record and tied for second-best in school history.
