Serves 4

INGREDIENTS:

3 tbsp. Meijer Honey

1 tbsp. grated lime zest

1 tbsp. fresh lime juice

1 cup fresh Homegrown

Blueberries (½ pint)

1 cup fresh raspberries (½ pint)

1 cup fresh blackberries (½ pint)

Cornbread (optional)

Frozen whipped topping, thawed

(optional) 

DIRECTIONS:

1. In a small bowl combine honey, lime zest and lime juice.  In a medium bowl combine blueberries, raspberries and blackberries.  Drizzle with honey mixture; cover and refrigerate 1 hour; stirring occasionally.

2. Spoon berries into dessert bowls, or (if desired) spoon over cornbread. Top with whipped topping (if desired), and serve.

Recipe note:

For a layered presentation, in a clear glass bowl layer blueberries, half of the raspberries and blackberries; lightly drizzling each layer with honey mixture. Top with remaining raspberries; lightly drizzle with remaining honey mixture. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.

*1 hour chill time extra
