A woman and man are facing charges after a stabbing in the early morning hours of Friday. Police were called to an apartment on Lafayette Avenue for a stabbing at 1:00 a.m. Friday.
Officers found 42-year-old Steve Corbin stabbed in his left side. Corbin told police a man had attacked him on the street.
However, police say an investigation found Corbin's live in girlfriend, 31-year-old Tiffany Morgan, used a steak knife to attack Corbin during an argument.
Morgan faces a charge of aggravated assault. Corbin was treated and arrested for making a false report.
Both are due in court Friday morning.
