Three men are held on one million dollars bond each as police investigate an alleged abduction and rape in Lincoln Heights. Detectives say they were able to rescue the girl by pinging her cell phone. The suspects appeared in court on Friday morning.
According to police, a 17-year-old girl was taken from Sharonville to Lincoln Heights by a man she knew. She initially went with him voluntarily-the man was supposed to take her home-but instead she was held captive at an apartment on Matthews Drive near Chester Road around 11 p.m. Wednesday.
Officers say the girl was raped in a bedroom in that apartment around 5 a.m. Thursday. Officers were finally able to locate her after she called police-they pinged her cell phone to discover her location on Thursday night.
They arrested three men who were inside the apartment. All are felons. Officers also say they found bullets and loaded firearms, including a gun taken in a recent home invasion robbery, inside the apartment hidden in a bathroom furnace closet..
