Cincinnati Police are investigating a deadly crash in Sedamsville.
It happened just before 1 a.m. on Southside Ave. in front of the Peter Cremer Chemical Plant.
Investigators said that 47-year-old David Eads lost control of his 2003 Chevy Impala and drove off the road. He hit a concrete post, then drove into a chain link fence. The car then caught fire.
A passenger in the car, 21-year-old Jonathan Proffit, was able to get out of the car before it became engulfed in flames. He was transported to University Hospital with minor injuries.
Hundreds of people in the area of the crash lost power shortly after the crash.
