CINCINNATI - A man once accused of flashing women jogging in Hyde Park is a free man. Charges against Darnell Dukes were dismissed today, after a judge said he had been held in jail too long without being brought to trial.

Darnell Dukes surrended to police in early January. Cincinnati Police said he confessed, admitting he flashed women for the "shock value."

Dukes was facing six counts of public indecency and was expected to begin trial Monday. But the case was continued and the judge said Dukes had already spent more time in jail than he would have, had he been convicted on all the charges facing him.

The investigation into other flashing incidents is ongoing. Police have reports of another incident in the Oakley area just a week after Dukes was arrested.

flashing now... raping later... what is the sentence for flashing that he already spent longer in jail? seems to me that it needs to be reviewed and extended.

How nice for Mr. Dukes! He can get back out there flashing and he won't miss a single moment of spring/summer 2013. Let's just hope he does not feel even more empowered and escalates to another level. This man needs a mental health confinement until he is ready to be out in public....

He might have spent more time in jail than he would have with a conviction, but with the charges dismissed, he will not have a record and will not have to register as a sexual predator. So, the next time he does, and he did admit he had a problem which means he will probably do it again; he will go into court as a first time offender.

rediculous! So he gets by doing the flash dance for "shock" what will he do next? You really think he is going to just stop at that? Sure lets just let him out and wait til he grabs some one jogging and rapes them. After all, im sure flshing people for shock will get boring! hell have to do something else!
