A bicyclist made a shocking discovery early Wednesday morning in Madeira.

As the man rode his bike down Camargo Road he found a man lying in the street who had been shot in the neck.

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Department and the Madeira Police responded.

Investigators tell Local 12 News that 25-year-old Leonard Lamb was rushed to University Hospital.

However, even though Lamb was found just inside the city limits of Madeira, officers believe he was shot in the 5200 block of Camargo Road in Columbia Township.

Lamb was rushed into surgery.  His condition is not known at this time.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (513) 352-3040.
