John has lived in the Cincinnati area longer than anywhere else in his life. He is currently the anchor of Good Morning Cincinnati , but John was hired by WKRC-TV in 1983 to be the Northern Kentucky reporter and has lived in Northern Kentucky ever since.
John's home is Knoxville, Tennessee. That's where he was born, where he attended the University of Tennessee and where most of his large family lives. However, John's father was in the Coast Guard and he lived all over the United States before his family decided to settle in their hometown for good.
John's interests vary, from cars to music, but center on his family; his wife, Donna, his two children, Brandon and Lindsay, and the world's smartest grandson, Oliver.
