The Bengals today signed HB Bernard Scott of Abilene Christian University, one of the team’s sixth-round choices in the 2009 draft.  

Scott was the winner of the 2008 Harlon Hill Award – the NCAA Division II “Heisman” – after rushing for 2156 yards. It was his second consecutive season of more than 2000 rushing yards. He scored 73 touchdowns in his two seasons at ACU.

Scott is the third of Cincinnati’s 11 draft choices to sign, joining CB Morgan Trent of Michigan (sixth round) and WR Freddie Brown of Utah (seventh round).
