Former nurse’s aide Donald Harvey says he killed 24 patients at Cincinnati’s Drake Hospital out of mercy. The number grew to 37 after authorities added victims from a London, Kentucky hospital. Harvey says he killed many more patients – as many as 100 – but investigators decided not to pursue those claims due to lack of evidence.
Today, Harvey is an inmate at the Southern Ohio Correctional Facility in Lucasville (click here to see his inmate profile). His first parole hearing is scheduled for 2043.
